Interiors, exteriors and gardens

Redesign your living room — Same walls, brand-new room.

Upload one photo, keep your walls, windows and doors, and try style after style. Structure lock asks the AI to change finishes and furniture, not the room, so what you see is your space, not a stranger's.

How it works

From one photo to a finished space in three steps.

AI interior redesign means restyling a room from a single photo without changing the room itself. Upload a picture of a room, the front of your house or your yard, and the studio changes the finishes, furniture and colors while it keeps your walls, windows and layout where they are.

The real difference: general chat AIs draw a brand-new room that only looks like yours. We redesign the one in your photo and keep its walls, windows and layout, so what you see is your space finished, whether you live in it, list it or pitch it.

  1. Step 1

    Upload

A phone photo of any room, the outside of your house or your garden. Straight on, in daylight, works best.

  2. Step 2

    Customize

Pick the room and a style, then decide how much should change. Try look after look on the same photo before you spend anything on the real thing.

    • Structure lock on by default: walls and windows stay put
    • Interiors, exteriors and gardens
    • Dozens of styles, or describe your own
    • Change one area with a brush, leave the rest
  3. Step 3

    Done

Compare the result with your photo, refine it or try another style, then download it or send it to whoever needs to say yes.

    • High-resolution download (up to 2048 px on paid plans and packs); commercial license on Pro and Expert

What you can redesign

Kitchens, gardens, house fronts. And rooms that aren't finished yet.

Each clip starts on one ordinary space, then flips through five designs of it from the same camera. The walls, windows and layout stay. The design changes.

  • Kitchen remodel

New cabinets, counters, backsplash and lighting on your own kitchen, before you call a contractor.

    Remodel my kitchen
  • Backyard & garden

Turn a patchy lawn or a bare yard into a modern, cottage, zen or Mediterranean garden, or an outdoor living space.

    Design my garden
  • Exterior & curb appeal

New siding colors, roof, front door and lights, with the whole front of the house restyled at once.

    Redesign my exterior
  • Empty & unfinished rooms

An empty room, a new build or a bare basement, shown finished and furnished in different ways, so you can plan before you buy.

Structure lock

It's still your room

General image tools tend to redraw the whole scene: windows shift, a wall disappears, the camera moves. Structure lock tells the renderer to keep walls, windows, doors, fixed fixtures and the camera angle where they are, and change only finishes, furniture and decor. Compare each result with your photo before you rely on it.

strict renders kept the walls, windows, fixtures and camera angle in our October 2026 test of three image models, using the model we chose (4 real photos, 3 styles each).

It isn't perfect. Area edits sometimes change less than you asked for; if a render moves something it shouldn't, tell us.

Change one thing

Same room. Only what you asked for changes.

Each pair is one photo, before and after a single kind of edit. Walls, windows and the camera angle stay where they are; the part you picked is the part that changes.

You really have three options

Only one shows your actual room before you spend anything, without the $8,550 designer bill.

  1. Option 1

    Hire an interior designer

Find the right pro, brief them, wait for concepts and pay for revisions. Worth it for big projects, but it is a lot to spend just to see an idea.

    • Polished, personal result
    • Costs a lot, takes weeks

  2. Option 2

    Ask a general chat AI

General image AIs draw a new picture from your description. Furniture can warp, text turns to gibberish, and walls and windows move or appear from nowhere. It is not your actual room.

    • Cheap
    • Not your room, often glitchy
  3. Option 3

    Use Interior Redesign AI

Upload a photo, pick a style, and get a photoreal redesign of your actual room. No design skills needed.

    • Keeps your real walls, windows and layout

Questions

Interior Redesign AI is a web app at interiorredesignai.com that redesigns photos of rooms, house exteriors and gardens in 72 styles with 18 tools. Eligible new accounts get 5 free credits. It is available in English, Spanish, German, French and Brazilian Portuguese.

All questions
Will it still look like my room?

Structure lock is on by default: it tells the AI to keep walls, windows, doors, fixed fixtures and the camera angle and to change finishes, furniture and decor. It usually holds but isn't guaranteed, so compare each result with your photo and check anything important with a professional before you build.

Is it really free to try?

Yes. Eligible new accounts get 5 free credits after verifying their email: one allowance per person and device, and disposable email addresses don't qualify. Free results carry a small watermark. No card needed.

How do credits work, and do they expire?

Every tool spends credits from one balance. Most tools cost 1 credit per image in Fast quality or 3 in Premium HD (our best model, 2048 px); advanced staging costs 2 or 6. There's a published fair-use daily limit. A plan's credits refresh each month and unused ones don't roll over. Credit packs never expire. A failed render costs nothing.

What's the difference between plans and packs?

Plans give you a monthly credit allowance and renew monthly or yearly; yearly billing is one flat price a year with fewer credits a month than monthly billing. Packs are a one-time purchase of credits that never expire. Standard covers the core tools; Pro, Expert and packs cover every tool.

Is there a watermark?

Free results carry a small watermark. Standard, Pro, Expert and credit-pack results don't.

Can I cancel or get a refund?

Cancel in Account in two clicks; your plan keeps working until the end of the period you paid for and doesn't renew. A subscription's first payment is fully refunded within 7 days if you've used 50 credits or fewer, once per account, and an unused credit pack within 30 days; renewals aren't refunded.

Can I use the images for a listing or client work?

Pro and Expert include a commercial license. Free, Standard and credit-pack results are for personal use. If you use virtually staged photos in a real estate listing, follow your local rules on disclosing them.

Is my photo private?

Before you sign up, your photo stays in your browser. After that we store your photos and results so you can see your design history. Designs are private unless you share a link, and you can delete any design at any time.
